Robert King has a passion for selling and for the education and development of salespeople. During his sales career, Robert reached No. 1 in total sales in every organization which employed him and he eventually took over the responsibilities of sales training for each company. Over the past ten years, Robert has developed his own sales skills training system called The Exceptional System.
In 2004, Robert introduced The King Consortium, a multifaceted sales education organization dedicated to others’ success. Robert finished his first book in 2006 entitled Are You An Exceptional Salesperson? - a handbook to The Exceptional System. It is an A-Z exploration of the sales process that is designed to strengthen a salesperson’s skills, cultivate his/her confidence and increase their income. His second book Are You An Exceptional Sales Manager? is due for release in 2008. Recently published in the USA TODAY, Robert contributes a regular guest column called “Exceptional Sales Management” for VIRGINIABUSINESS.com - Virginia’s premiere business magazine for executives.
